Sarah Knight

Sarah joined LTS in September 2017. She has an MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh where she completed her dissertation on the cost of climate change to human health, concentrating on mosquito borne diseases and changes related to climate change. In addition she was recently Vice-Chair of the 2050 Climate Group, and remains Board of Trustee, Chair of International within this charity, having led the pilot of the Malawi Climate Leaders project.

Her recent work at LTS has includes managing and acting as assistant researcher on a scoping study to help inform the design of a new DFID programme, Climate and Resilience Framework Programme (CLARE). She is currently involved with various climate related projects, including Climate Resilience WASH for Ethiopia. Her focus and interest is on research into action, within climate resilience, adaptation and mitigation. This is specifically on how research is translated into policy and subsequently into behaviour change.
